Kathleen Lanzoni grew up in Montreal and California, and has lived and worked in Colorado since 1992. She was formally trained at the Art Institute of Boston, receiving a certificate of completion, and at the Massachusetts College of Art, receiving a BFA.
Kathleen divides her time between painting outdoors, in the studio, and on location for murals, with most of her subjects exploring some element of nature and life. She works primarily in watercolor and enjoys capturing the light and mood of her subjects, whether it is a landscape, still-life or figure. Color is used as an essential element in all subject matter, to enhance the visual experience.
Kathleen’s paintings are owned by several private collectors, and she has donated many paintings for local non-profit organizations. She is an award winning Signature Member of the Colorado Watercolor Society.
