January 7th Saturday
Beading Basics with Laurie Parker Swenson Beginner/Refresher
Cost: $35 (includes materials)
Time: 10:30am – 1:30pm
Learn the basic techniques for bead stringing including what materials to use for a professional look, how to crimp, select the right clasp and basic design layout. You will also learn some basic wire working techniques to make simple bails for making pendants from beads and the loop & coil for making earrings. Students should bring tools if you have them (chain nose plier, round nose plier & cutter). Students will receive a 20% discount on tools purchased at Bead Lounge. Materials will be supplied.

PMC Basics with Laura Humenik Beginner/Refresher
Cost: $110 (includes materials)
Time: 10:30am – 3:30pm
This class teaches you basic techniques for working with Precious Metal Clay. You will learn which tools to use, how to use them, the various properties of PMC, how to make your own fine silver pendants, findings and more! All materials will be supplied.

Basic Right Angle Weave Bracelet with Sue Eaton Beginner/Refresher
Cost: $35 ($10 kit fee)
Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
This class will teach you the basic Right Angle Weave stitch, which is so extremely versatile. You will leave class with a beautiful finished bracelet. You must be able to thread a needle. Materials will be supplied in kit form for a small fee.

Painting With Polymer Clay with Peg Harper Beginner/Refresher
Cost: $30 ($5 materials fee)
Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm
This polymer clay class will teach you how to explore and create using the “applique” technique. Materials will be supplied in kit form for a small fee.

Flowers On The Vine with Laura Humenik Beginner/Refresher
Cost: $55 (includes materials)
Time: 12:30pm – 3:00pm
This fabulous class will teach you how to create a wearable garden using various glass & metal leaves and flowers wired together to form a very unique necklace! Enhance your wire working skills and learn to create in 3-D. Materials will be supplied.

Tubular Bead Crochet Bracelet with Tony Natale Beginner/Refresher
Cost: $65 (Need materials listed below)
Time: 10:30am – 2:00pm
Students will learn how to Bead Crochet while making a great decorative bracelet. Instructor will supply tools used in class, but students need to supply materials listed. Materials needed for the class: Size 6/0 seed bead (2 packages - different colors), One large focal bead (15mm or larger), two 14mm end caps, Two eye pins (20Ga), one clasp.

Wired Glass Leaf and Flower Pendant with Sue Eaton Beginner/Intermediate

This class will teach you how to make fabulous flowers using various glass leaves wired together to create the flower! These fun creations can then be used as pendants, earrings, brooches, ornaments and whatever else your creativity can come up with. Materials will be supplied in kit form for a small fee.

Beginning Stone Wrap with Laura Humenik Beginner/Refresher
Cost: $60 (includes materials)

This wonderful class teaches you how to wrap free-form stones that have no holes as well as cabochons (flat back stones with no holes) using both a basic twist wrap and a more complex basket wrap. If you’ve been wanting to turn those rocks you’ve collected into wearable pieces, this is the class for you! Students will receive a 20% discount on tools purchased at Bead Lounge. Materials will be supplied.
February 4th Saturday
Hammered Cuff Bead Embroidery Workshop with Heidi Kummli Beginner/Intermediate
Cost: $175 (materials included)
Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm
This 4 hour workshop will explore Bead Embroidery techniques including gluing cabochons and metal flower, beading around cabochons and flower, incorporating different beads and finishing. All materials are included in this class, metal flower, stones, beads, suede, 1 1/4 inch hammered cuff and tools. You can bring your own beads and components if you wish but we will be sticking to the basic pattern in the photograph. Class is limited to 12 people. A 50% deposit is required at time of registration, with the balance due first day of class. Deposits and balances are payable by check, cash or credit card through the Bead Lounge.
February 5th Sunday
Salt Water Etching (On Metal) with Russ Howard Beginner/Refresher
Cost: $80 (materials included)
Time: 12:30pm – 3:30pm
Learn how to etch copper, brass or nickel without harsh chemicals. This technique includes methods to clean copper, transfer designs to the metal and build your own etching kit! Materials will be supplied. You will leave the class with enough “hands on” skill and equipment to continue etching at home.

From The Heart Valentines Day Card Making with Claire Haberfeld Beginner/Refresher
Cost: $25 ($10 materials fee)
Time: 2:30pm – 4:30pm
There is nothing more treasured than a handcrafted card, especially when there is a little love tucked inside! Come learn to create a folded heart pocket card filled with sentiments while using various embossing techniques. Also learn how to make a floral origami heart to embellish another card. Materials are provided for this project for a small fee.

Basic Kumihimo Braiding with Lucy Renoux Beginner/Refresher
Cost: $75 (includes materials)
Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm
Learn the basic round eight cord braid with or without beads. This technique can be used to make bracelets, necklaces, key fobs and more! Basic tools and supplies provided, including a Kumi Loom Disc and bobbins. A 50% deposit is required at time of registration with the balance due the day of class.

Traditional Dream Catcher with Rose Red Elk Beginner

Learn the basics of weaving a traditional Lakota dream catcher. Hear the traditional story of how the dream catcher came to be and learn the properties of certain stones. Includes 5″ hoop/leather/feathers, artificial sinew, some beads and charms. You may also bring your own beads and charms if you wish.
