Colorado beadwork artist, Heidi Kummli, will be teaching a one day workshop for Beginners on Bead Embroidery Basics. Entry Fee: $5.00 — Limit: 2 entries per artist
Guidelines:
Artwork must be ready to display. Hanging artwork must be less than 10 lbs.
Size limit: 4ft. x 4ft.
All artwork MUST have been created this year (2010).
Bead Lounge Reserves the right to refuse any submission.
Art need not be for sale. If for sale, Bead Lounge charges 35% commission

The members of Boulder Loose Threads were drawn together by a mutual love of color, texture, pattern, and fibers. They all shared a desire to move beyond the traditional in quilting and needlework and were well on their way when they discovered one another. As a group, they share ideas, inspiration, critiques, techniques, motivation, and friendship. While their work reflects their individuality, their group reflects their beliefs that art is meant to be shared and discussed, that being challenged in your art makes you a better artist, and that art is an integral part of life.

Ella Buchholz - Artist Of The Month
