This workshop will explore the basics of how to make and use glass clay. Glass clay is a relatively new medium for glass fusing. It is quite similar in nature to pate de verre, which is an ancient technique used to mold 3-D items out of glass. Glass clay can be used to make low relief replicas from texture sheets to 3-dimensional objects. The techniques learned in this workshop can be used to make jewelry, decorative items, tiles, and many other artistic creations limited only by your imagination!
Class is Beginner/All Levels. Class runs 8 hours long on Saturday with a break for lunch and afternoon stretch, and 6 hours long on Sunday with lunch and afternoon breaks.
